Default Help, I'm stuck!

Facts about my team:
FC København (best team in danish Superligaen)
Formation: LB, CB, CB, RB, CDM, CM, CM, CAM, ST, ST

Opponent: Odense Boldklub (Middleclass Danish team)

Problem: Bad perfomance by FCK no matter what I do
(or that's what it feels like)
Low possession, low passing, very few shots on goal.

Any tactical suggestions?

p.s: I can't just change formation since I don't have a single winger
(sold them for more and better central midfielders)

Default Slow it down.

Tactics are sometimes over complicated. Remember that your team will take some time to get used to your tactics, once they are you can make minor ajustments to get the best results. Here are some things that work for me...

1. Keep the same formation for most opponents.

2. When playing a weaker team make best use of your players skill by slowing down the tempo - your players will keep the ball more resulting in more possesion and shots etc.

3. When playing a stronger team keep the shape in the middle by minimizing the forward runs of central mid. Close down more in the opponents half, to stop them from dominating the possesion. It is importand that any players in your half are not on close down all the time as this will drag them out of possitions.

4. Try and identify key players for the oponents team, once you think you have noticed a player is getting a lot of the ball set your team instructions at the begining to close down all the time.

Hope this helps, I have more things that work for me which I will be posting in the tactics and trainings area soon.

Let me know how you get on.
