Default Wozza's Widge 4-2-2-2 Tactic

Hey Guys, this is the thread where you can tell me what you think and what you have accomplished with my tactic.

I find that i score crap loads of goals and hardly get beat. But when i get beat i lose by 3 or 4 goals.

There will be a new improved Wozza's Widge out soon.

For those of you who havn't used my tactic yet. Here is the link :D

I have been using this tactic for 5 games now and i Won 4 lost 1. This tactic is great because you dominate posession and have loads more shots. you must have a good midfield as you get a lot of goals for there.
GREAT TACTIC WOZZA!

Well I've been using it with Spurs and so far here are me results.

Spurs 3, Metalist 0.
Spurs 3, Reading 2.
Sunderland 4, Spurs 3.
Portsmouth 2, Spurs 1.

Not great away from home I've found but it's awesome at home. But I'm gonna test it some more yet so I'll keep you updated on how it's getting on.

Right, I've tweaked the defensive aspect of the side. I've stopped the team from closing down all over the park and told them to only close the opposition down in their own half. I've also changed the marking to zonal. I have stopped the defenders from making runs, except the full backs who still make the odd run down the wings. The defensive line has been moved to normal as well.

Here are my results since changing.

Metalist 0, Spurs 1.
Spurs 0, Bolton 0.
Spurs 7, Middlesbrough 0.

Hey Liveru maybe when you tweak it a bit more you could upload it as like version 2 of this tactic or something.

Wozz, this tactic got me my first win in 16 games =D

My results with wycombe since using it :-

Wycombe 2-1 Brighton
Leeds 1-4 Wycombe
Wycombe 4-2 Peterborough
Wycombe 1-1 Carlisle

I find the same as you, score quite a lot (well a lot since i have hardly been scoring) and my quickest striker (Easter) gets most of the goals...and also i lose by a lot when i do lose haha...will post more results...and definatly gonna keep usin it :)
Great tactic Wozz ;)

Cheers Ru

LMAO at John Ireland
Great work mate especially as you were quite down about being derby in the championship

See Dargo17 is doing well too. Wozz could you put a screenie in of your team instructions mate as I cant download to the computer that FM08 is currently running on?
Good tactic though mate seems to work a treat and I might need all the help I can get with Hull in the EPL!

Thankyou mate will give it a whirl pre-season and post how it goes by editing this post.

*Results as promised*
Hull City v Abbey Hey Won 4-0
Hull City v FC Twente Draw 0-0 lost on pens
Hull City V Brechin Won 2-0
Hull City v Lazio Lost 5-0
Hull City v Carlise Won 3-1

Verdict so far...It seems a good tactic and is great against lower league opposition, but I think my Hull players are a bit too slow to make it work. Am going to retain the tactic for the cup games and see what happens. At the moment I dont think it will work in the premiership, as against Lazio my team just couldnt get the ball off them, and backing off the italians just led to them creating more and more chances.

(06/04/08)
Played tactic again against Burnley in league cup
Hull City v Burnley won 3-2

(08/04/08)
Played tactic v Man Utd in premier league
Hull City v Man Utd won 3-2
