glad its working for other teams too, i'm debating with what team to try it next, might go to a mid table side in italy and see how it works...do ac milan count as mid table lol

give it a lash sure, worst thing that can happen is you lose your job :D will deffo be starting a new league tonight! I'm a bit put off football after not being able to beat derby at the weekend :( |

just to add a bit more info, i'm trying this tactic with everton! Got a mad idea to be everton! Weird...
anyhow.... So far have made 2 signings, almunia on loan and jefferson farfan for the AML
Only just finished pre season but 5 games, 5 away from home, 5 wins, scored 16, conceded 0
Will see if it continues through to the season and will post up how it goes |

19 games into the season with everton....3rd in the league, level on points with united in 2nd, behind on goal difference, 6point gap to chelsea in 4th, arsenal on top by 3points.
Beat united in the league 4-1 :D
Into the semi final of the carling cup VS Liverpool, knocked out man city, man united and middlesborough to get there.
Into the 1st knockout stage of the uefa cup VS Palermo, will let you know how i get on.
Havent played a game in FA cup yet but its crystal palace away from home.
Having trouble getting the goals though, i've kinda rotated johnson and yakubu, johnson scored 7 in 3 games and then gets injured for 3months so now i'm with yakubu and vaughan!
Anyone else got any feedback?
So far it seems to work in la liga and premiership, anyone try italy? |

End of season with Everton
Quarter final of uefa cup, lost bayern 5-3 agg
Semi final of carling cup, 6th round fa cup
4th in the prem, was 3rd till last match!
Now a lot of the team have gone back to their clubs as i didnt sign any from loan deals apart from pienaar as a back up.

How has your away record been so far with it? away form is a bit sketchy lol! I've put the everton game on hold at the minute and am trying it with juventus! see what happens, then's its tried in england,spain and italy!
Away with liverpool i can only suggest bringing the more defensive of the MC's in as a DM and set your 2 DC's to man mark! It cancelled out bayern munich's attack when i tweaked it at half time and i got the away goal. Give that a lash and see if it works and let me know! |
