In 8.0.2 we have all so our towering CB's galloping up the pitch and sticking the ball into the back of the net, some people purposely set Corner tactics up to achieve their star CB getting the goals whereas others prefer just to totally ignore the Corner regime. In previous FM's we rarely saw out CB's score mebbes the odd header but you were always more likely to see Kompany pop one in from 50 yards than see him smash one in off his head, so in the next 2 mins im going to show you a very effective set up that has worked for me.

First of all we need to decide the corner taker, in this we need to look at a players stats for Corners, Crossing and Technique. Preferably these stats could be 15 and upwards but sometimes you have to make do, the attribute for Corners is naturally essential. Crossing again an obvious attribute needed and a half decent Technique attribute is needed for that crisp delivery. Set Corners from both right and left to into the 6 Yard Box.

Secondly we need to decide on the man to get the headed goals. In this process we need to look at a players stats for Heading, Bravery, Jumping and Strength. Once we have found our player we need to set his Corner attacking status, set him as Challenging the Goalkeeper, this way he will be in and around the 6 yard box when the ball is put in and he will make the keepers life difficult.

Now we need to select the runners, we need 2 players with similar stats to our main man to attack the Front and Back Posts, this way any lose balls or poor deliveries will be flicked on or flicked back into the 6 Yard Box where our man will hopefully knock it in. After this is done set our fullback as Staying Back on corners, select a player with good Crossing, Technique and First Touch as Short Option and put everyone else outside of the Box or if you have another player who is good at Heading and all that have him Attacking Ball From Deep.

nice work skacel for making it and james for bringing it here
what i used to do is set it to near post, with a big strong striker on there, and a centre back challenging keeper, and the other striker standing on far post.
it worked great on fm07, and works ok now, though i have changed it a bit
but maybe this will work too :P
