I did this ages ago, when I had signed Craig Cathcart on loan from Man Utd.
In my third season, he managed to score 3 hat tricks and overall, scored 26 goals in the season, being my third top scorer. Looks like quite a big flaw in the game to me

I'm going to try this. But i'm gonna put my way of doing corners. It is simpler but perhaps not so effective as this one. Just put one of your DC coreners mentality to Forward and the one with better Heading, jumping streght and bravery to Near post Flick on. The chose a player with good corners, tehnique and crossing. You will get a goal almost every match depending on the streght of the opposions and the player guarding your DC (if this is a Tower striker it may not be so effective). I will suggest to try and bough Federico Fazio from Sevila. He is not so expensive (bought him for about 5 milions) and have all the required atributes(Heading 20, Jumpiing 18, Strenght 20 ) for this tactics. Also it is 195 cm which makes him one of the tallest DC in the game.

I've only ever got this too work once. And my player only got about 15 goals in 40 odd games.

Too much of a flaw in the game to take advantage of IMO. If the player only got maybe 10 a season I would use it, but 20-odd is just silly.

I've been using this for a while now. I found it most effective when at Juve. Legrottaglie in my first two season's scored over 80 goals. He was my top scorer both seasons. Currently Arturo Vidal has scored 123 goals all comps in three seasons. Pretty ridiculous i know but very amusing.
