I've been using this for a while now (since 8.0.1) and its always worked wonders for me, not so much on the old patch but it's awesome on 8.0.2, half way thru my first season @ West Brom and Neil Clement has 15 league goals already and he's my top scorer lol, most he's got in a game is 4 vs Coventry

you need a quality DC if you're going to get any goals like this. If you don;t have one, follow this guide exactly, but set the corners to mixed rather than 6 yard box.

a couple of questions
will this work on a game started with the 800 update, but then patched to 801?
and do i need 802 for this - it looks like a workaround to a regular tactic because you would never find DCs getting hat-tricks irl...

but judging by the results, it works, when i play next, i will try it

I think there will be even more goals if you have very good towering striker like Nicola Zigic and set up him instead of CB!

Ok im getting jelous now, apart from being totally confused. Granted im getting my DC to beat his marker to the ball regularly but he still fouls. This happens when I try different defenders and even other players in his position so what am I doing wrong? I am obviously missing something can you guys help me with whatever this might be?

Love it! In the very first game under this tactic, my DC scores twice to come back from 2-1 to win 2-3 in the end....he gets a 9 game too....

Also, i can't see why a good tall great heading finishing striker can't perform as well, if not better, will try that out too.

doesn't seem to work on lower league teams. Im in conference north and havn't had any success with it yet but i dont have any great headers so im having to make do.

conference south and this is just magic. my defender, Conor Larkin, (chased by many teams in the lower league) scored 4 goals in 6 matches from corners and grabbed 3 MOM!!!

@Alan_R what i did was put my scoring defender to Challenge keeper, my two strikers attack near and front post, a midfielder with good heading to attacking from deep, a winger to do short option and rest to outside area. Try this. And check if you accidently setted to Near Post Flick on and Stand on Far Post
