My exp with Man City (8.0.2)

To start out:

Choose mid-table finish and ask for more money (U will get around 60-70 mil. Pund Sterling)"ALOT"

Ur attackers suck to begin with.. Sell Benjani u want need him..

Buy Nihat (Clinical striker from Villareal) very nice 20-30 goals striker, and will boost ur t-shirt sail.. The fans love him..

They got exelent players for a 4-4-2

PLay Micah richards as right back and dont sell him first season.. Chealsy will buy him for around 35 mil. (Pund Sterling, if u ask) later on.

U dont have to play elano on the offensive, just play a straight/boring 4-4-2 flat.

At some time u gotta sell Corluka to, but dont worry.. U will get around 25 mil. and u will be able to buy much better players.. such as (Christian Zapata(Udinese) Aturo Vidal (leverkusen))

I got the same prolems to begin with. But this was the groundwork to alot of uefa and cl matches.

im playng with man city too. check this out:

and i use this tactic:
5-3-2 Super Attacking Formation
in the first season i bought too good players: veermalen(DLC form ajax) and Huuntelar(clinical striker form ajax) and a lot of youngsters.you may buy behrami(WBR from lazio). just look on my current game. :D

I'm currently Man City 1st season only brought Huntelaar for 17.75m and play a 4-2-3-1 @ home and 4-1-4-1 away from eastlands (short quick passing on both), yet to concede and creating chances by the bucketful, lying 2nd atm to Chelsea which aint bad, imo this team is made for these formations so hope this has helped.
