Need some help desperately, i have tried various tactics downloaded from here and was wondering which in your opinion is the best to use. was trying to get one as good as Thrown in Diablo was on CM 03/04. once again thanx and HELP!!!!!!! ha ha ha

you wont get a tactic that good, but you can try mine if you want FMFormation.net - Football Manager - FM2008 - Downloads - Fed Supremo V1 everyone who has used it has had quite a lot of success :)

Hmm, I dont understand :S sorry but try the download section and wait for ure team to get use to the tactic.

There is no miracle tactic! You have to discover a tactic which will fit your players and team and not try to fit your players to a tactic. So, depending on the team and the quality of your players you should choose your tactic. I can give you some ideas but I need details.

what details do u need i usaually manage man u or a lower placed team in the league and wait to see if i get offered jobs from the better teams in the div. Or start as a lower league side and let the game run and see if i get offered jobs that way. if u could suggest a team and tactic to start off with that would be appreciated in the lower league. once again thanks and ur suggestions are appreciated.

The reason why the Diablo tactic was so immense is because CM03/04 had a lot of flaws and things you could take advantage of. These days, there aren't many things you can rely on in FM when it comes to tactics. It all depends on what kind of team you've got. Who are your most important players, on what position(s) do they play and what kind of players are they? Based on this, you can create a tactic of your own and build the rest of the players around it.

A lot of tactics on FMF have been good ones because they worked for the ones who actually had the players to use that tactic. It isn't anymore that you can just grab a tactic, put some players on the necessary positions and win every match... thank god...
