Default T.H & Leachy's 4-2-3-1

Ok made a formation ages ago, and finally got good instructions for it too!

I joined Aston Villa in January just to test it, and started out with two bad results, a 3-0 away loss to top of the table Arsenal, and a 1-0 away loss to rivals Birmingham.

However, I tweaked with the settings a bit, and headed into a game at home with 6th placed West Ham, and won 2-0! My next game was against Oldham in the cup and I won 5-0! I then lost 1-0 away to Newcastle, although the game could have gone either way!

I then beat Blackburn 2-1 but unfortunately Gabby Agbonlahor got injured. I signed Jimmy Briand as a replacement and he got injured in training. In the next match, a 3-0 win against Crystal Palace, Ashley Young got injured too! Each player was out on long term injuries, and only Young played again for me, although it was only the last match, where he scored.

I managed to beat Wigan away, and then faced a massive test against Man Utd. I ended up losing 3-0 but kept going, confident my tactic was going to succeed. I had successive 2-0 victories away to Fulham and home to West Brom, and then I faced my decisive match, at home to Liverpool. I took an early 2 goal lead, and Liverpool got 1 back in the second half, but I won in the end!

I also won Manager of The Month along the way and at the end of my trial I was comfortably 5th in the league.

My overall record with the revised tactic was:

Played 10, Won 8, Lost 2, Scored 19, And Conceded 6.

This tactic will get you around 2 goals a game, and will keep your defence tight at the back. It is also pretty useful because I recieved a lot of penalties, and a lot of opposition players were sent off!!

I suggested the formation to James, and Leachy told me he had good instructions for it, so I combined the two, with his instructions and my formation, then tweaked a few things after those 2 losses, and now it works very well!!!!!

Any questions just ask, and good luck!

Oh yer, and our test subject Styles, took Crystal Palace from a relegation battle in the prem, to winning the league when he switched to our tactic!!!!!!

Team positions and instructions for Harty, as seen in my Race For The Title story

Positions

Instructions

You need a good DM, CF and FB. If your RB is stronger than your LB give the RB the forward run, and switch the defensive arrow to the opposite side on the CMs.

Good Luck!
