Many thanks Obinter. I'd just about given up on Fm2008 after patching it to 8.01. It seemed no matter what I did I was always losing. But your Monster v2.1 tactic has turned things around and my newcastle side are now flying high in the premiership. Still get some rather 'odd' defeats to teams I should be beating but overall its the best tactic I've used on 8.01. :)

Can you explain the difference in the instructions between the three CM's?

FL - very fast striker or winger - Agbonlahor,Kuyt,Adriano
FC - good finishing striker or attacking midfield - Torres,Carew,Harewood,Maloney,Crespo
FR - good dribbling/technic striker winger - Ashley Young,Babel,Ibrahimovic
MC(center) - good defensive/passing midfield - Xavi Alonso,Reo-Coker

im using capitano_1 tactic at the moment
but
when the new season starts ill use it for a few friendlies to see the resultss

really nice tactic obinter! im curious mate do you use the exact same tactic for home and away games? or should you change it up abit?
