Bladehearts is on a distinguished road
Default Team for the future

I am currently manging Hearts and have a whole clutch of good youngsters (16/17/18)that I want to develop and build my team around.

However, I am unsure as to what is the best way to develop and nurture these players.

Should I fast-track them into the first team or leave them in the U/18s? Should I focus my training staff on youth coaching?

My only concern is that some of these youngsters arent the quickest is there anything I can do about this?

The best way I find is to let the youngsters develop is to play them in a few games in the cup as well as a few run ons in the league mate.

Current Game History:

SV Salzburg

2007- 2009 - SV Salzburg, Bundesliga champions 2007/2008, Austrian Super Cup winners 2007/2008

Sunderland

its has to depend on mental attributes. Most of the pro contract will have that if it already ok, u should involve in games...but if not try to train them with your youth coach (only if u have rally good and enough coaches)}ref:on star u gain.. or u can loan them in lower rep club as there where they play more.

remember 1st good technical attributes
then mental attributes..

I'm guessing that three of the better players you have are Branimir Kostadinov, Ryan Wallace and Matej Rapnik?

I found all three coped well with life in the first team, I made them understudy to older players, played them when my team were winning comfortably and Kostadinov even scored a couple.
Try and get yourself a scottish feeder club to farm them out to, as they wont want to go to Mtz-Ripo. After turning down three lots I was lucky enough to have Alloa come up and I immediately started to farm out my youngsters, most of which played regularly for them.

Other good ones in the Jambos side are Matthew Park, Callum Elliott, Ryan McGowan and Gary Glen, all of which are worth playing in the odd friendly, or taking to cup games against lower league opposition.

The way I do it is play the youth players occasionally. Like in the League Cup or against smaller clubs in the FA Cup or unimportant games in Europe. That way you still got a full team apart from a couple of youth players scattered about and nine times out of ten it'll benefit these players. That's what I did with Alex Cooper and Gerardo Bruna anyway.

i always give my promising youth players around 10-15 competitive games a season, this works well for me and my players develop very well.

I find that if i have some promising talent in the u18's and they seem to perform well for the u18 side then i move them to the reserves for a certain amount of time and see how they perform then, i also pay attention to my coach reports and if they state so and so would benefit learning from a senior player i use that aspect of the game to help nurture his talent, as for loaning players out i dont normally do that till the players get to a certain age (19/20) thats if there not in the first team by then, as i find that playing reserve team football along side some of my fringe senior players is better than playing 2/3 or even 4 leagues below where my club is, and like the others i normally play a mixed team of seniors and the best youngsters at the club in cup games and non important league games, hope this has helped abit mate.
