I had this same problem at bOo.

They were copying everything from SI's official forums and passing it off as their own.

Including my stuff.

Unfortunatly I really don't think anything can be done about it unless it's been copywrited.

Matt, Greg, Rich and Chris, have they credited the makers for it? Because they may have permission from some of the people, but if they haven't credited or got permission, then I think the FMF Police need to investigate!!!!

Having said that, I will look into the situation.

The unimaginative dirty theiving scumbags. like hardie said I dont do ought useful either, but I think each and everyone of us feels this site is our own territory, and this sort of thing really gets my back up.

TH according to JP on FM britain they have not credited any work but also when I looked I didn't see any naming or creditations for anyone so to me they are theiving the best of people's websites.

Bozza have a quiet word with their admin about it, if he refuses say some stuff about taking it to court, and at worst send over an army to spam them :p

Lets spam their site to death!!! If done correctly no one will touch their site.

another alternative (like in player-art):
prevent people with less than 10-15 posts (or a certain amount of posts/month) from accessing the guides section

I think if you look, you will find that the admin as been doing most of the stealing.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea but how can you stop people looking at posts?

As a matter of fact I quoted the articles from sussie website and also found them on fmgamer website. So someone just tell me how can I assume that the original author was from FMF. Anyway I don't wat any wars so please PM me whoever wants the credit. I have no intention of giving the credit to myself. I just wanted to share the info with my clan :D.

so we finally know who the theif is. Obviously you need to through all of the guides that you stole and find out who the creator is and credit them on there hard work and not yours as you did'nt write them in the first place. When you see contact before redistribution on a guide it means contact the guide maker to get permission and not just rob the guide anyway :@

And another thing we dont need your sort coming over here and stealing guides that we have worked on. Basically what im saying is we are better of without user's like you, and as moderator of the guides forum im sure everyone will agree

tbh i think any guides you have taken from here without permission should be deleted from your site straight away! this kind of behaviour is far out of order and we dont need it!
