I have noticed that certain players are less or more good on different games. Using a program called mini scout editor you can seen the potential player ability, and some other things. I've noticed that on two different game saves one player had different potential abilities. On the one of my saves he had potential ability of 154 while on the other save he had potential ability of 174. I think i've noticed this for Genaro Zeefiuk and Oscar Ustari. Both had a potential ability around 160 at the first game and 175 at the second game.

Every game is different - this is just a guide. For example, people who don't want to cheat and look at the editor will be able to gain tips from this. Eg if a player usually gets good but isn't good on here, it tells that person that they need playing often to help them develop. Plus potential ability is exactly that - potential. They may never reach it.

Although 10 years would be too much IMO. Even the youngest players would be 25/26. 5 years is a good timescale. Not many play it for more than 5 seasons either.

yeah redhawk is right, in ten year's most player's wont be there so there's no point, but this is great mate!

It could be that you play him more often than the this saved game, his stats would go up quicker for you that way

I've thought about that - might. However, there are millions of 'hot prospects/wonderkids' shortlists and mine would be no different to them.
