I have a youngster who is 15 and has a potential of up to 7 stars....but whenever i send him to learn from another player his stars go down....why?

It could be because he ain't learning from the right player?
you could also try sending him out on loan perhaps?

Thanks...like for instance it says he is a similar player to Fernando Torres...it means that he should only learn from Torres?

well i would let him learn from torres first then learn off some other players more for just there prefered moves then anything else as its the only way to pass it onto youngsters who havnt got any

sending him on loan will give him the experience and also use a good training schedule
i like Tug's, especially since it has a youth one as well
this will bring out the best in the players
make sure you have good coaches too

to bring out the youth player potential, if the youth player don't have preffered move give i preffered moved from the player in senior squad. for example, choose torres to tutoring the youth player for giving prefferd move. after the youth player have prefferd moved, and he have a bad mentality, make someone to tutor him from aproach to the game (the player must have better mentality and better influence).

if the youth player have all of them above, just loan it, to affiliated club if there's no one club wants to loan him.
just give it a try, i've tried it, and success...

even a player with 160 PA can be a star in the future
