I just signed Andrey Arshavin in my 2nd season with Derby County with the intention of playing him up front. A few games in and his form has been a bit hit and miss so I thought maybe I could only get the best out of him if I played him at AMC.
I tried him at AMC and he scored a hattrick, albeit against poor opposition, then in the next game he was fairly average again.
My question is, can I get the best out of him playing him up front with someone else or will I only benefit from having him in my team if I play him at AMC (something that I'm slightly reluctant to do as I don't want to hinder Barnes' progress)?
This may be better in one of the other threads so mods feel free to move if you think that's the case. |

I've played him off the right right before, free role, set his runs pointing toward the area. When he gets in the middle he creates havoc, to me a lot like Pandev or Pjanic do and maybe more at the level of the latter. Set to play through balls and let him take some long cracks too. Lad's class, just have to let him roam and do his thing. |

His form has definately picked up over the last few months, he's got 15 goals in 24 appearances. Perhaps it was just a case of getting settled in. |

I tend to let him have the free role whenever Ive had him. He just causes complete havoc in the opposition half, and apart from being a good goalscorer, sometimes can get two or three assists in a game that way. |
