Players to suit Ipswich Town tatic formation - FMFormation.net - Football Manager

Well basicly im Ipswich Town, got 15.5 to spend. Im looking to play a

.GK
.RB .CB .CB .LB
.DM .DM

.AMR .AMC .AML
.ST

So really a bit like Holland in Euro 2008.
The AM's and ST would be able to play very attacking, fast and direct. So with the DM's and defenders there is something to fall back on when things go a bit wrong.

I plan to buy DeMerit and Piatti. But i could do with a striker, wingers, a dm, and maybe a decent full back.

I would like some English players, but im not bothered if i have a few foreigners.

Any help would be apprechated =]

What year are you in on the game?

If you've just started I'd recommend Mika Aaritalo, he can play AMR/L and ST and i incredibly consistent. On my Liverpool game he was great at AML chipping in with a few goals and in my current Derby game he got 17 assists from ST in my first season and started the 2nd season with a hattrick against Wigan. I play 2 up top on my Derby game though so can't say how he'd perform as a single striker. The best think about him is he's amazingly cheap, cost me just 45k on my Liverpool game and 180k with Derby. I can't say if he'd join Ipswich but it's worth a try.

for the dm position you can get nengomashe for around 500k, plays for kaizer cheifs in south africa

AMC pablo piatti, maciej iwanski would be perfect there to

st id stay with danny haynes, or you could get bogdan stancu

AMR gor lebohang mokoena (spelling) south african player

GK vincent enyeama

jsut thought of another one mate, you could try and sign mirel radoi for DC, he'll cost you around 2 mil but is well worth it

and adrien from sporting is touted as the next deco on my game, i currently have him with salzburg, cost me 2.5mil, so he should move to ipswich

Radoi looks very good, ive bidded already, with him and DeMerit at CB ud think id be solid. I tried to get Adrien to Jax before, havent thought to try get him here. Will check him out now =]

Agree about Adrien, think I got him for about 800k in my Derby game and he's been great so far.

I actually have a save game with Ipswich Town.

In my first season, I signed Danny Shittu (Watford), Ricardo Fuller (Stoke), Michael Kightly (Wolves), Richard Lee (Watford), Sam Hewson (Man Utd) and Ariel Montenegro (Hercules).

Also a MUST loan signing is Lorenzo Davids from NEC. He's a phenominal player. I was so impressed by him.

With those signings I dominated the Championship and managed to finish in the top half of the Premier League with a few extra signings the following season.

Now, I'm not saying you must sign these players but they would be brilliant additions, especially Davids.

Ive been Ipswich before and the players that i bought and go me auto promotion were: Danny Shittu, Matty Holland, Stancu, Fuller, Stephen Caldwell, Dani Aquino, Wade Elliot.

Im thinkin of playin a basic 4-4-2 now tbh.

Ive seen that Davids before in the player search. Ill check him out right away. Ipswich seem to have alot of Dutch links dont no why..
