I created a club on the editor calles firebreast utd (don't ask about the name it really wasn't my idea) but anyway i stuck them in scottish first division gave them 2000 rep but i made a mistake with the budget. Instead of giving them 1.1mil i gave them 11mil (wow the difference one 0 makes) but i know i have the team to dominate the division. But last season i decided to come in in january and when i took charge they were last i managed to finish 3rd but it wasn't good enough for promotion so know i am just before the july transfer window and in desperate need of some good defenders who will cone to small clubs. If you could help it would be really appreciated thanx

maybe your better off looking too loan a few youngsters?

or look at players who dont have clubs at the moment.

Youre best off checking the scouting network, look for bargains and youngsters there mate

thanks i managed to get mark little on loan and i got alex silva. i was really surprised that he came to me. mark litte has fitted in perfectly a right back and wants to join perminently also alex silva has been a rock at the back and has not made a mistake all season. i am leading the league. so things are looking up.

Maybe try players like German Re, Cristian Fernandez, Gabriel Petr, Gerber Heiko :)
Their all really good cheap defenders not sure if they're what you want but why not take a look.
Also loaning players like Banega, Leto, Insua and Dong Fhangzuo wont harm your team :)
