i just got watford promoted to the premiership
i have 16 million to spend
my squad lacks any real quality
so players are needed in all positions

what year are you in? do you want players to fit a tactic or will you build tactics around what you've got?

i'm in the 2008/2009 season
got them promoted first season
the players dont have to fit a certain tactic
i normally just play an attacking 4-4-2 anyway
i have made one signing

ah im a big fan of niculae. good player. not sure how he does in the game though. Perhaps buying players from scottish clubs might be a good idea, you'll get a few bargains at least.
Christophe Berra and Andrew Driver both get good from hearts.
Andriy Rusol would tighten up your defence. Think he plays for dnipro in ukraine.
Balasz Dzsudsak from debrecen is also a bargain if someone hasn't already got to him.
Usually I start at very small clubs so by the time I get to prem its mostly comp generated players in my squad. sorry i couldnt be more help. There is nothing better than finding your own gems in FM though, create and mold your own squad. I can personally vouch for Dzsudzsak and Berra, both quality players. If you still want a big powerful FC have a look for a guy called Souleymane Youla. He's very quick, powerful, and although he lacks a bit of composure, is excellent at bringing his teamates into the game |
