I'm looking for high-priced midfielders and defenders. I've tried Rio Ferdinand for £26m, Steven Gerrard for £34m, Djibril Cissé for £9.5m (striker), Franck Ribéry for £26m, John Arne Riise for £11.25m, Nicolas Anelka for £12m, Frank Lampard for £21m, David Villa for £25m + Henri Saivet, Silva for £25m, Per Mertesacker for £12m, Ricardo Quaresma for £11m and Klass-Jan Huntelaar for £15.75m - ALL REJECTED! I bet you're glad your offers for Riise and Cisse got rejected!!!
I would try making higher bids for some of those players or try the likes of Diego from Werder Bremen, or Sergio Aguero from Atletico Madrid, he's an amazing signing!!!! |

Diego has already been bought this summer and is Aguero the Mexican? If so he's been bought for over £30m.
edit: Cissé was bought by Atletico Madrid for £15m lol

The only thing I can think of doing is continue to bid and declare interest in them. But don't declare your interest in too many players as they will take it with a pinch of salt and not really believe you. |

Depending what season you are in, if you cant get anyone in for the fist team Id try and sign all the good youngsters and develope the youth team right up.
Barca should have enough quality from the offing to maintain challenges on most domestic fronts surely? |

Breno is a centre back with a big future...in 3rd season and he has just broken into Brasil side.

Dont know why you need to sign players with the quality you've already got. Anyway, try;
Drogba (no more than 25m), Fabregas (no more than 30m)
Also, look in Arsenal u18's, class players in there |
