These are in no particular order but are, from my experiences and knowledge, the 10 best wonderkids in the game. 1. Lulinha - Corinthians - 2.9 mil release clause. - An exciting central attacking midfielder who can always deliver goals and assists. In 14 games he has 4 goals and 6 assists with a 7.43 AR. 2. Glenn Christiansen - Stromsgodset - Free, but I bought him in 09/10 for 6m - An extremely quick left back who is lethal with any free kick. 3. Ever Banega - Boca - 4-5m - A tireless defensive midfielder who chips in with a few goals. He has a 74% passing rating, one of the highest in the Premier League at the moment. 4. Bojan - Barcelona - Unbuyable?? Somewhere near 20m but he rarely wants to move - A quick striker who finishes with ease. 9 in 10 for Barca and 3 in 4 for Spain. 5. Gonzalo Higuaín - River Plate/Real Madrid - 15-25m - A versatile attacker who scores, assists and helps the team. He got my vote for world player of the year. 6. Karim Benzema - Lyon - 15-25m - A strong, quick striker who scores 20-30 a season. 7. Igor Akinfeev - CSKA Moscow - 20m - An unbelievable talent in nets who is solid in all parts of keeping. 8. Andrés Guardado - Deportivo - 20m - A very versatile left-footed player who with good training and guidance will become a great addition to any side. 9. Damián Luna - Independiente - 6m - An explosive striker who scores goals for fun. A snip at 6m. 10. Breno - LOSC Lille - 10m A commanding centre back who is accurate in passing and tackling. So, there you have it. Football Manager 2008's brightest prospects. Get these guys early while they're cheap before the big guns swoop them from you. Good luck. Simon. | | | | | 01-04-08, 04:45 PM | #2 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Sunderland Posts: 484 Thanks: 6 Thanked 24 Times in 15 Posts | Very good guide obviously different people will have a different 10 (me included) but its close to most. | | | | 01-04-08, 06:19 PM | #3 (permalink) | | Scout For FMF's DB Update Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Liverpool Posts: 387 Thanks: 16 Thanked 72 Times in 71 Posts | Lulinha is amazin, i signed him with newcastle an was class...i have tried for bojan with so many teams, never wants to come lol good guide though ;) | Cheers Ru | | | 01-04-08, 06:46 PM | #4 (permalink) | | Hot Prospect Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Norwich,Wroxham Posts: 72 Thanks: 4 Thanked 4 Times in 4 Posts | Yup good guide !! But good guide nonetheless. Will be looking out for these player in future games. | | | | 01-04-08, 07:40 PM | #7 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 3 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | Yes, everyone has Sergio Aguero, Henri Saivet etc. in and around there somewhere I just felt that when I played with/against these players they didn't perform as many said they would. For instance, Saivet, for my Chelsea team has 2 goals in 3 starts and 14 sub appearances. Hardly a wonderkid. But in other's games and systems he may play better i.e I play 1 striker, he may produce more goals with 2. So this list is merely my opinion not neccessarily everyone's. | | | | | 02-04-08, 04:57 AM | #8 (permalink) | | FMF's Toon Army Spiderman and member of the Writers Crew Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: wiltshire Posts: 1,813 Thanks: 235 Thanked 425 Times in 403 Posts | Good list there mate and some seriously worthwhile buys. only comment I have to you to maybe make it better is to include where and when you were in the game for the player values. | Signature-Care of Ru Top FMF GFX Artist Current game Birmingham/Spain 2009-10 | | | 02-04-08, 05:01 PM | #9 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: Jul 2006 Posts: 30 Thanks: 3 Thanked 4 Times in 4 Posts | Can't argue with the list. Never heard of Luna though, definately taking a closer look at him in the near future. | | | | 03-04-08, 07:40 AM | #10 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Banda Aceh,Republik Indonesia Posts: 879 Thanks: 19 Thanked 45 Times in 39 Posts | breno is lille?not bayern munchen? | | | | 03-04-08, 11:02 AM | #11 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Feb 2007 Posts: 534 Thanks: 19 Thanked 16 Times in 11 Posts | You wrote OSC Lille - Breno?
