the first 2
if you can see that they have a lot of potetntial then send them out on loan, and keep a scout on their performances there
get them tutored only if they are similar (mental attributes and player likeness) to an experienced player in your first team who plays well
dont play them in your first team unless its an injury crisis or your a really bad team and/or he is one of your best players
good luck

i would let them play in my under 19 first. get older players to be their role models.

once they hit 18 or 19, i would feeder them out to affiliate clubs or loan them.

sometimes i have no choice to sell them due to lack of first team commitment

Always tutor with an older player, and sendin them out on loan always helps

I sometimes try tutoring them and putting them in reserves and whack there trainig all the way up on whatever needs improving most sometimes you see a huge improvement in a short space of time

I say its better to first let them play in the reserves and when they are a bit too good for the reserves you send them out on loan and if they do well there too you put him in your 1st team.

from my experience, tutoring him with senior players and playing him straight away in first team is the best way in developing youth players....

taking example in my game, david amoo, jack hoobs, and dean bouzanis.... now they are a good player... even, david amoo is my top scorer below Fernando Torres... Dean covered Reina very well... and hoobs make an incredible duet with Carra, his tutor...

Moreover, sending him in loan is not a good way because their skill is not going up as many as training them, esp when ur training facility is fairly well...

IMO I like to do a mixture of all three. If there is a team at the correct level for the player to develop then loan him out .If not I Get senior players to tutor them during training. Try to give them first team exposure without over doing it which is the hardest part to judge

Current Games:
Fulham - Season 3 (Premiership)
EPL - 17th, 15th and 12th
Best Result - Manchester United 0 - 1 Fulham(EPL)
Best Signing - Marko Marin

Nottingham Forest - Season 3(Championship)
League 1 - 3rd(Won Playoffs)
Championship - 13th
Best Result - Arsenal 2 - 2 Forest(FA Cup)[back from 2 - 0 down]
Best Signing - Alex Fernandez

Give them a full time pro contract and sign them up for your team's training. No loans, playing in the Reserves League is enough. Tutoring is great, but be very careful to asign your only similar players as mentors. So a fast striker tutoring another young fast striker, not a winger or fullback. Believe me, I've done some experiments and the morale of both players went down when asigned the wrong mentor.

go to the youngster , player interrection and you will see 3 types of statements which appear similar in content, however I'm not sure what the effect of each particular one is. You will be albe to reccomend 1 older guy to tutor him (you don't get to chose which one unfortunately). So careful not to pick the wrong guy.

Further to ionutd comment at the bottom of the screen there is a drop down menu with a list of players who are able to tutor your youngster you can choose from there

If you are a top team such as man utd or chelsea then send your scouts to a random country look for 15 yeers olds then sign them then jus watch em grow up into quality players in your under 18s and reserves
