Description: Promising Striker
Personality: Fairly Professional
Squad Status: Hot Prospect
Henri Anier (born December 17, 1990) is an Estonian professional footballer, who plays in Estonian Meistriliiga, for FC Flora Tallinn. He plays the position of striker.
(Not much information could be found on him, and this is all I could find!)
This guy seems to be a very promising striker. At the start of the game he is 17.He starts the game in the Estonia international squad although he has never been capped by his country, but in the game he starts to play for Estonia straight away.
Henri is a striker, he possesses great work rate and heading attributes, which is a great quality in an ST.
At the very start of the game in my opinion he isn’t really that great, but you have to remember that he is still only 17.
Give him a couple of years and he will be shinning for you team. Maybe send him out on loan to a few teams, although try to get the balance just right when choosing the loan team. You don’t want him in a league where its going to be too easy for him to score, because in my opinion he wont learn/improve very much. But at the same time don’t pick a team that is only looking for a back up to there current strikers, and he will never get any experience or games.
This is his stats after 2 seasons…
After a couple of seasons you can really notice an improvement in his stats.
Dribbling improved by 3
Finishing improved by 2
First touch improved by 2
Heading improved by 2
Basically all his stats improves by about 2-3 points. Thats showing fantastic potential!
Tactical Instructions
Henri Anier’s best position is ST although with a bit of training he could also play in the AMC role, as he is already “Unconvincing” in that position. But remember before you try and train him in that role that he will become an FC, and might be different a less attacking minded player.
Anier has many strengths although one which I think is one of his best and isn’t mentioned above is that he can speak English. This is a great benefit if you are going to bring him to and English club, it means that he can settle into the club a lot more quickly than other foreigners would.
Just like any player Henri has his weaknesses although his doesn’t seem to be that bad considering he is a striker and he is 17. The only ones that would worry me is that he doesn’t seem to be a very agile. I mean he is the greatest jumper in the world and his strength isn’t great either, but it is kinda weird that considering he cant jump and he isn’t very strong he is still such a good header of the ball.
My assistant manager thinks that one day Anier will become as good as Adebayour! That cant be a bad thing, can it? lol
Conclusion
I think that this guy should be considered by any team. At his age, he is a great prospect, with great attributes. As you can see from my screenshots I put him in the Arsenal first team for the whole season and in my opinion he done pretty well. You don’t have to be a big club like Arsenal or Man Utd. He will pretty much go to any team above league 2. Keep an eye out in the “Expired contracts” section for him. That’s how I originally signed him.
