HISTORY After Jay's succesful speel at college side Chigago Fire Premier, Jay failed to make a move or be picked by any MLS clubs during the draft. Jay decided to make the move to Europe and he was signed by a Sunday League team called Southall Town FC
DeMerit was then signed by Nortwood in 2004. During a pre season match against Watford, Jay impressed the Watford manager, Ray Lewington so much that he offerred him a trail at the club for 2 weeks. Jay signed on a permanant contract after a really succesful trail. The contract was only for 1 year but Jay became a key fixture in Watford's defence.
In 2006 DeMerit helped Watford to the Premier League when Watford won in the play-offs under new manager Adrian Boothyroyd.
Jay was named captain for watford for the first time on 9/12/06. On the 15 of December Jay was named the new captain of Watford after Gavin Mahon was not having his contract renwed by the club.

BEST POSITION
Jay's best position is as a DC. Well you did'nt have to be a rocket scientist to figure that one out

So with his strength and heading abilty I would set him to challenging goalkeepers for corners. He may even get plenty of goals if used with the famous corner trick.

VERDICT Jay would be a great siging for Championship sides or of Leagues of that equivilant. I dont think Jay would cut it in the top flight leagues as he will not have the ability needed to make it there.
