Mauro Zarate
Fear Me Information Mauro Matías Zárate (born March 18, 1987 in Haedo, Morón Partido, Buenos Aires Province) is an Argentine professional footballer, currently playing for Al-Sadd of Qatar. Mauro is the brother of fellow footballers Rolando (Barcelona (Ecuador)) and Ariel (All Boys), as well as former international Sergio Zárate.
In-game Information Mauro Zarate is currently on loan at Birmingham (IRL, he's already back) from Al-Sadd and is very close from sealing a deal to Birmingham (IRL, if birmingham didn't get relegated, they would've gotten Zarate) but in FM, he isn't that good. He's very expensive though, very weird.

Career Zárate made his full debut on April 21, 2004 against Arsenal de Sarandí. He shared the top-scorer award for the Apertura 2006 with Rodrigo Palacio (Boca Juniors) with 12 goals each.
On June 18, 2007, Zárate signed a two-year deal with Al-Sadd in the Qatari League in a deal thought to be worth around $20M.
In 2007 Zárate helped the Argentina Under-20 team to win the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, scoring the winning goal in the final against the Czech Republic.
On January 21, 2008, he joined Premier League side Birmingham City on loan until the end of the 2007–08 season, with a view to a permanent deal. He made his debut for the club in the 2–0 defeat at Sunderland on January 29, 2008, and made his first start in March against Portsmouth. He scored his first goal for the club against Reading on March 22, 2008, followed by a brace in their next match against Manchester City and an equalising free kick against Everton. Zárate left the club at the end of his loan spell, their relegation from the Premier League meaning that no extension to the loan would be considered.
Yes you are right, I am so lazy that i resorted to copy pasting wikipedia, i know. Oh but dont worry, i'll, surprisingly post original stuff after this, which i doubt will be good, oh and birmingham relegated, shame! In-Game Info
Mauro Zarate has excellent set-piece skills that have helped birmingham in-game and IRL. he also has good pace and acceleration making him a decent striker, he has decent flair, determination and agility, but other than that he is quite normal, he's a decent striker and is (probably) good for a back-up striker for mid-table teams and wont be a worthwhile signing for the big four. but he is good for teams such as birmingham, derby, etc.
Stats Pics Enjoy, this image was made out of pure boredom, please don't get offended :), yes i know you wont be able to read it, i really need help with that
So, I'll be only typing the strength and weaknesses :(
Strengths Free Kicks - 20
Penalty Taking - 18
Determination and Flair - 16
Acceleration and Pace - 17
Fairly good physical stats
Weaknesses Average Finishing - 12
Normal Composure - 13
Normal Off The Ball - 12
Horrid Jumping and Strength (small guy) - both 9
Conclusion Mauro Zarate-who has gone back to Al-Sadd following Birmingham's relegation-is a pretty decent striker to have around, certainly not for the big clubs but a decent back-up, without his set-pieces, he may as well not be here. Although he has pretty normal overall stats, he will be a good striker for back-up, relegation battlers and championship sides
Shame, I dont know how to put up big pictures :(
And spare me, for this is my first decent attempt at a player guide :)
