Michael Woods is an English professional football player from Pocklington who plays as a midfielder for Chelsea. Woods turned down a scholarship from Leeds United to sign for Chelsea. Leeds United chairman Ken Bates accused Chelsea of tapping-up Woods, the two clubs later agreed an out of court settlement for the player.

Woods has been capped for the English national under-17 team. He made his first-team debut for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge against Macclesfield Town in the third round of the FA Cup on 6 January 2007, making him the fourth-youngest player to ever play for Chelsea as he was 16 years and 275 days old. He came on as a substitute for Frank Lampard in the 79th minute. He currently has two appearances for Chelsea in the FA Cup, but is yet to make his Premier League debut.

Weaknesses
I cant really think of a weakness for Woods, but if I had to pick one, it would be his ability from set pieces, he isnt very good at taking corners, freekicks, penaltys or throw ins, however you can easily get by this by simply choosing someone else to take them.
