Bogdan Sorin Stancu is a Romanian football player, currently playing for Steaua Bucuresti. (On the game he plays for Unirea Urziceni). He has been compared to fellow countryman, Adrian Mutu. The 20 year-old is rated in the £2 million class by his Romanian club and along with Atletico Madrid, is also being tracked by Chelsea F.C., Fiorentina and Celtic. In FM08: On FM08 Bogdan Stancu is a very reliable forward. He has a good eye for goal wether you play him upfront on himself or with another strike partener. Stancu is a must have for alot of teams, including the 'Big four'. As Stancu is pretty unkown in the football world, he will also drop down to the Coca-Cola Championship level and maybe even League one. As Stancu is only 20 at the start of the game, he has plenty of time to develop, and if you treat and train him nicely, Stancu could develop into one of the best players on the game. The spoiler below will show you just how good Stancu turns out, look at the spoiler and I need not say anymore. Strengths
Stancu has a good natural finishing attribute, wether you feed Stancu with a neat through ball or a ball straight to his feet, he will most likely come out on top of the defender and score. Another strength of Stancu is that he will develop very well. As you have seen in the spoiler above his stats are simply immense, his attributes don't start off as good as in the spoiler, but even at the start of the game, Stancu is a great player. Weaknesses
A weakness of Stancu is his heading, not only is his heading attribute pretty poor, his agility and positioning attributes are pretty poor too. However you can get around the fact that he isnt a good header, by playing the ball to his feet. However have you have seen in the screenshot above, Stancu can learn how to head the ball very well. Conclusion
To conclude; I believe Bogdan Stancu to be a very good signing for alot of, if not every, teams. At only about £1M, Stancu is very cheap, after about three seasons Stancu will be wanted by alot of the top European sides, who may even place bids of about £10-15M for him.

good guide, but i must ask though, i did get him on earlier versions (8.0.2 below) for big clubs but on 8.0.2, he looks much more.. mediocre, do you still recommend him to clubs such as birmingham, derby, man city, etc? |

I have to admit, your right, on 8.02 I wouldnt sign him for big clubs like AC, Man Utd, Barce or Bayern. |
