Club at start of game: Liverpool Reserves Value: £675,000 Wage Demand: £2,000 p/w Work permit needed?: No Jack Hobbs is a hot prospect, why do you think teams always want to loan him in the initial season? He's got talent, I personally tout him as the next Jamie Carragher. I suggest playing him as a central defender as obviously that's his position but when the opposition is taking a corner, instruct him to stand on the near post as he's good at moving and turning his body to header (16) away. He's a brave player, always willing to put himself in the way and getting stuck in (well he did for me in the last game I played him in, he was getting stuck and running at the ball to defend it). In other words, he isn't afraid of the ball or player at whatever circumstance. Hobb's strength (15) is always useful for defending, you don't want a skinny, frail man running at a striker. His marking (17) is very good, and he positions himself correctly and stays in line with the defensive line (if that's your style of play). Jack's tackling (14) is average for a defender, yet he is only young and still has loads of potential so don't be put off by that number. Think of his other strengths and use that to your advantage. Keep receiving scout/coach reports from your staff to see his progress. Trust me when he reaches his peak, he will have changed massively and for the better. I suggest you loan him out for a couple of seasons till he reaches about 21, then play him in cup games or sometimes premiership games only if you think he can manage, which I'm sure he can. He will need experience to improve, so please don't stick him in the reserves forever.
