David Luiz is a young and talent footballer, who is very good aerially and is very quick and will battle for every think he sees. He is a promising player, and a 1st team regular for Benfica this season.

EC Victoria: David Luiz started of at the age of 16 at Victoria, where he became a regular, in his time here he made 47 appearances, scoring 7 goals in the process, not bad.

Benfica: On January 31st 2007, David Luiz joined Benfica and made an impressive debut in the Uefa Cup. He established himself as a 1st team player. In the summer of 2007, David Luiz permanently signed for Benfica, on his debut he scored his 1st and only goal fro Benfica. He is attracting the attention of may tops club including Tottenham, Barcelona, United etc.

In Football Manager 2008, David Luiz is a great player to purchase. You will need to offer loads of money due to him being a great young talent, and Benfica not willing to let him go. He has been a Brilliant player for my Aston Villa Team on Fm 08, but I sold him for £ 16 million to Juventus, after a season. He has a lot of experience of defending and times his heading to perfection. If you have the chance to sign him I recommend you do.

Tactical: David Luiz always plays best as a central Defender and I recommend you only play him there, because he will always give 100% there. Train all his defence stats up and you will have the perfect player.

David Luiz has loads of strengths like any other player they are..

Determination: 17: David is a very determined player who always sets about winning the defence part for your on football manager 2008, 17 is very high meaning David will go for any ball, as I have said earlier.

Aggression: 17: He loves sliding on fm 08, during my Villa season, he was sliding, unfortunately he did receive a red card for to much aggression, but it’s a great stat to have on football manager 2008 PC game.
Sorry but most of his other stats are covered up, I know for a fact David Luiz is VERY Good in the air, and Ariel ability is good too, as you can see is Heading is 14, but I think it should be more. His Anticipation is good 2.

David Stats which are shown, he doesn’t seem to have many weeks points, well using him on fm 08 I know some needs improving.

Flair: 5: he doesn’t really change his game, ok he sticks to Basics, but doing to same thing can be costly eventually.
Creativity: 6: he not a very creative player lets be honest, so use training for these and he could be a top assist player, for your team.
First Touch: -: it doesn’t say but I think it needs improving because it has cost me before in games.
Also his long throws need to be higher then 10 in my opinion, due to the fact I have seen him take them and he isn’t brilliant, but he is young and learning.

Its good that David Luiz tends to stay fit and healthy and not get injured as much, his natural fitness of 15 is very high for a defender considering terry’s is lower then that.

I think David Luiz is a must buy youngest for your team, give him a long run in the 1st team and he is bound to get better. After a few Seasons, loads of Clubs want him because he is a very special player. Even though you need to pay £ 10 million, I think its worth getting someone young but experience at the back. On Football Manger 2008 I would give him 8 ½ out of 10. He could turn out to be signing of the season, good luck in signing him.

Good guide Adam, i like the way youve done all the Headlines for the weaknesses, final verdict etc...not sure he is good enough for my villa team at the moment, but will look at him for the future :P

I think he could become good enough for the top 4 because i bought him for chelsea and he was he was a good back up for terry ...but hes still young so he will get better :D
