In real life
Oscar Alfredo Ustari (born July 3,1986 in América, Buenos Aires Province) is an Argentine professional football goalkeeper currently playing for Getafe CF of Spain.
Ustari played in children's league with
Club Atlético Rivadavia before moving to Independiente at age 14. He made his professional debut in the Argentine first division in 2005, later going on to be the goalkeeper for the Argentina Under-20 team that won the 2005 Football World Youth Championship, which took place in the Netherlands.
On May 15, 2006 he was named by coach José Pekerman as a squad member of the Argentine team for the 2006 World Cup.
On January 4, 2007 reports emerged claiming he has been signed by FC Barcelona on a pre-contract deal due to begin in July 2007, with the fee believed to be in the region of 10 million euro. Also, on the June 12, 2007 reports emerged claiming Manchester United have joined the race to sign him. However, Getafe CF secured his services on July 4, for a fee of €6million.
In football manager No doubt one of the best young goalkeepers in the game, if not the best, his potential is enormous, as shown in the above pic after 5 years; akinfeev, petr cech and even casillas do not come even close. But he does come with a hefty price tag though, i bought him for 30mil pounds but worth every bit of it. When he first came to Man Utd, my assistant manager already said he was better than van der Sar, so that speaks volumes of him.
Tactical instructions
He's a goalkeeper, play him there!! Set his distribution to long kicks, his kicking is superb, got a few assists for me...he even managed to get a goal! I am not kidding.
Strengths
He excels in almost every important stat for a goalkeeper, one on ones, rushing out, aerial ability, command of area, communication and most important of all his eccentricity and tendency to punch is below 5!
Also is a consistent performer.
Weaknesses
His rushing out and concentration is a little on the low side, but trust me, you won't see the difference.
Conclusion
There is no better keeper than Ustari, given the right training programme, he will be a world class keeper for any team, will definitely will walk into any of the big teams.Should be regarded as a definite purchase, to quote my scout!
