Default Are network games always so slow?

Hi,

I am trying to play a network game with a housemate over LAN. The server computer runs at normal speed and everything is fine, but the client machine is alot slower, e.g, it takes twice as long to play games, slight lag here and there.

Basically, its frustrating because the server machine finishes their game before the client has even got to half time.

I just wondered if there is anything to do to improve this or is it like this no matter what?

Thanks
J

hmm when i played with my nextdoor neighbour .. the quality of the connectuion was near perfect.. my machine was ahead by a few seconds so if we was watching the same match ..
i would see the goal 1st then a second later he would ..

are you sure youve got the game speeds the same and the match settings

try using hamachi :)

hope everything sorts out m8
