Hi Guys

Three of us have been playing for a while now and we are about to come to the end of our first season, up to now we have experienced no issues whatsoever and it may be that the problem I am about to describe may be down to poor internet connection, but bear with me!

I have a Mac, my two buds PCs, we are all using FM08, unpatched so far. We do not use Hamachi or anything like that, I forwarded my ports correctly and everything. I am the host. I am supposed to have 24meg speed, I don't, but it is generally over 16.

Last night, for the first time, play was REALLY slow, at one point nearly 30mins to complete a match, a LOT slower than it has been in the past. Furthermore, on restarting sometimes I got the message 'Unable to connect to server'.

My question is, are there any known problems with unpatched versions of the game, after a sizeable amount of the season going by? Or were we just unlucky last night, ie. maybe one of us had a slow connection? My two friends tried later on just with just the two of them and I was told that it was even slower. This leads me to believe that one of their providers was experiencing difficulties, but would like to know your thoughts please.

the unpatched game does get problems at en of first season, usally the game closes and you lose your data, but this problem seems to just be down to either a slow connection or the problem i have just mentioned, i reccomend getting the patch, and try using hamachi, it usually spees up online games
