Hi

Ive just downloaded the 701 patch, but when I try to update it, it says that a sharing violation occurred!!

Any help would be appreciated

wen i try to extract this update to the db file, it says that the people file is corrupt. can ne1 help pls.

My source is someone who made the J-League custom database for FM07. This database update replaces the Chilean leagues with the J-League. He did months of research in creating all players for the Japanese teams with full detailed info (like CA, PA and Reputation). The info of all the players he made were taken from different Japanese websites. He also spoke with some Japanese guys to collect info about different players and teams. He send me the database when he was ready with it. I wrote down the info of a lot of players in that database and created them in FMFormation's DB Update. I do believe that all the players he created do exist in real life.

Some changes I think need to be implemented:

David Beckham for FUTURE transfer - (transfer fee = 0, contract = expires 30/06/12)
Luis Figo for FUTURE transfer - (transfer fee = -1, contract = expires 01/12/08)
Manuel Fernandes - NO FUTURE tranfer to Portsmouth. Agreed buy-out clause of 12m pounds for any move to Everton.

Everything from FootballTransfers.net :) (excpet for loans ending in March or earlier!)

Yes there will be one released in the near future, however I think Bozza and the rest of the crew who worked on the update deserve a break, which is well earnt and let them enjoy some FM07.

General Changes:

* Thousands of transfers and loans processed.
* Over 750 new players added.
* Staff changes. Hired managers, resigned manager, new chairmen etc. etc.
* Renewed contracts of many players and managers.
* Loans till December/January have been removed. Future January transfers have been made permanent.

Detailed Changes:

* Checked Holland Eredivisie and Jupiler League club by club.
* Checked Ireland Eircom and First Division club by club.
* Tons of England First Division till Conference North/South transfers processed.
* Checked Carnegie Irish League carefully for changes.
* Daily checked FootballTransfers, Goal and BBC Sports for transfers.
* Swiss league has been checked club by club.
* Removed old loans (ended in December/Januari) and old injuries in England and Scotland.
* Processed a lot of Swedish transfers which happend in January.
* Many Portugese transfers processed. Also bunch of old loans removed.
* Club by club transfers for the Czech First Division in the January transfer period.
* U.S.A. MLS check club by club.
* Added 100 USA players thanks to the MLS 2007 draft.
* A lot of Norwegian transfers processed.
* Turkish Super League transfer period has been processed club by club.
* Swedish Allsvenskan club by club transfers processed.

* Russian Premier Division has been optimized.

I extracted files as you said and I don't get the option to select a database when starting FM, therefore not allowing me to use the updated database?

Whenever I download it, none of the January transfers have gone through, yet everything else has worked, I've placed it in the right folder because I get it on the dropdown menu. Help a.s.a.p please.

Make sure you put the whole DB folder in
C:\Documents and Settings\**Computer Name**\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\db

i'm sure that there's anything allright with database installation. there's all ok in editor too, but when i start playing for Spartak Moscow i was in UEFA Cup and Spartak Vladikazkaz was there too after losing Liverpool in UEFA Champions League but it is in 2nd russian division! how can they be in UEFA C.L.??
