I don't seem to have that menu. This is my main screen after I click "new game":  I'm mega confused. |

right i have a problem....i have installed the patch but whenever i go on the game it still says i have the old version running....yet when i run the patch again it says the latest version 7.0.1 is running....how do i get it so it works like that in game because now i have installed the update it doesnt work and im getting frustrated lol

i havent changed anything....when i go on preferences the date folder thats loaded is the 7.0.1 folder it says and it also says on the patch when i try to redo it that 7.0.1 is already running
where should it be installed to so i can check its right

bozza taz helped me fix it...i was using a no cd to run my game which stopped it working

im extracting the files to C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\db
After iv done this i go on to fm2007 and the only database is defalut?

FOR ALL YOU HAVING PROBLEMS!!!!!
Right here goes, in C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\db you should have had 2 folders one named 700 and one named 701. Overwrite the data in the 701 folder. YOU MUST RENAME THE XML FILE 701 or it will keep loading the original data.
When you load the game choose the FMF update on the pop up wizard and away you go.
