I'm portuguese and i can't install the update... i did everything that u said to do but when i start a game i can't choose the database!!! please help me :

Wayned... you can have as many DB as you want on the machine... but I prefer using FMF version of SI.. they concentrate more on the program rather than the data...
Oldmanrossi.... check your firewall *shrugs* what other stuff are you tryin to download.. is it just FMF downloads? | I dont get a drop down box when I start a new game it just loads game database and goes into league selection etc everything is unzipped to the right place 700, 701, FMFormation etc but I dont get a drop down box to choose from when I start a new game. i installed and works fine apart form when any one get transfered to a club the value of the player doubles and says i payed double what i did for them. like i bought vanden borre for 2.5 mill and after the transfer hes worth 5 mill and actualy took 5 mill out of my transfer fund . is this happening in any1 elses game? or any one know why this is happening

Therefore let them enjoy a bit of FM07 as well. The new update will include all changes after the transfer window closed, i.e. the Scousers will have money to spend and the new ppl included in the board |

FOR ALL YOU HAVING PROBLEMS!!!!!
Right here goes, in C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\db you should have had 2 folders one named 700 and one named 701. Overwrite the data in the 701 folder. YOU MUST RENAME THE XML FILE 701 or it will keep loading the original data.

thanks man im using this and its quite good, but as an argentinian i noticed u missed a few players so i would like to know how to edit those players....the problem is that when i try to load it in the editor when its loading "People" an error message appears saying "Failed to load"....if u have any idea why this can be i'll appreciate an advice plzz

Manuel Fernandes from Benfica is not on loan at Portsmouth and the tranfer will no longer take place in January.
Manuel Fernandes is on loan at Everton untill the end of the season.
Also Dabao from Benfica is not a AML but a ST.:brick:

thank u | Mate off course you can change Argentinian mistakes by yourself, but why don't you put the mistakes you find over here so FMF can change them for you and all the other people that are using our Update. Saves you a lot of time and helps us to make the update better! |
