FMFormation celebrates its 2nd anniversary today (February 25, 2008). FMF started as a small FM fansite, never knowing we would turn into one of the biggest FM sites in the Football Manager scene. With hundreds of new members signing up every week and with a largely increasing activity on the Forums, we are going stronger every day and we are confident that 2008 will be a very good year for the site and for the visitors and members.
Like we said, FMF started small. We created FMF in 2006 because we felt that there wasn’t a site which had a full and well organized Downloads Center. Because so many people liked the way we created the site, we thought it was worth a shot to bring more to FMF than only downloads. We succeeded in doing this. We started FMFormation’s Database Update which became more popular with every release. We introduced unique features like an own Arcade Hall to play simple games and compete with other members, a vBookie place where people can bet on football matches with the bucks they earned by posting on our Forums, a large collection of guides for people to learn more about the game and one of the biggest features of FMF, our very own shoutbox where young and old can talk about the game and share their experiences.
Now that it’s only a matter of time before we reach the 50,000 members milestone, we can say that it’s been a privilege to do what we (the mods and admins) have done in the past two years and continuing to do in the future. We’ve all worked very hard to make FMF the site that it is now. With this we mean not only the staff but also a lot of dedicated members who love being on FMF and have spend a lot of time making FMF bigger and better. We wouldn’t be where we are now without the help of you guys! Just remember, the more you like FMF, the more the site will grow.
This topic is to discuss everything related to our site. Perhaps you can remember something that happened in the past two years, doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad, funny or sad. It’s always nice to read the stories and experiences of the members. Some of you have been on FMF since the very beginning and some of you recently joined. It doesn’t matter though because you are all part of the FMF family.
Now it is time to enjoy the free beer and grab some cake!

well done bozza and spanish and all the rest of the staff. oh cant leave out the former admin Tazskool as well.
Its been great to be part of the site and helping out fellow members along the way. I joined last January and look at me now, started in vBookie in November and now just been made a trial mod a few weeks ago. Just shows that if you put in the work on this site it does'nt go unnoticed.
Also want to thank all the other members for making FMF one of the best forums in the scene.

I stumbled across this site too, and after I registered, was intrigued for about half an hour by some insane conversation between INeedBeer, Neil and TH. It didnt take long for me to get the confidence to come on here and start chatting and joining in, and they made me feel really welcome. (Until they found out I'm a Newcastle fan and started to rip it out of me :D )
FMF is without a doubt the best site for this genre I have ever been on. Since joining in January I now feel like part of the furniture, and I hope that anyone else who joins feels the same way too. Now I'm off to get some beer if the greedy sods havent drunk it all........ |

Wow two years! Almost 1 year since I joined up which was in April 2007, and then I became active in June, annoying everyone persitently in the shoutbox about online games! This FM site has to be the best around, because it has the best resources, the best features, and the best set of people! Could easily go off on one thanking all the great people who have helped me loads in the past, but you know who you are, so we will leave it at that. Cheers Bozza, Tazskool (whom i have never met) and everyone else associated with the site :D This is without doubt the best FM site ever. I've never been on any other FM sites properly so i don't know what they are like, but they don't have Shoutboxes so i didn't go on them.

Congrats Bozza and Spanish on this milestone, I found this site by complete accident over 18 months ago and ave never looked back, this is without doubt the best FM site around and when I was asked to join the staff a few weeks ago I was honoured. Yeah its the best site around and its just great that it has that many amazing people working on it and the forum is pretty much always lively not like on other sites where theres a post every two weeks.
Lets hope it continues to grow like this also in the future...happy birthday!
