More beta versions of FMFormation's Database Update - FMFormation.net - Football Manager

Donators can count themselves lucky, there will be more beta versions coming out! Since two weeks or so it's been crazy on the transfer market. Every club wants to buy a crapload of players to start their new season good and fresh. Biggers club are being taken over and the new chairmen are willing to throw away those millions!

Because of that we decided to give the Donators a new beta version every 2 (or couple of) days. This way Donators can stay uptodateand whenever someone feels like starting a new game, they are guaranteed of having an extremely update database update!

To all the Donators: Thanks again for your generous donation and we of FMF hope you like being a Donator and also think it's worthy enough to be one.

To the rest: Please consider becoming a Donator. You will help out FMF big time and get (besides the beta versions) some nice extra features on the site. You will also make sure we can cover all the maintenance costs of the site and give FMF the possibility to expand and install more nice features!

what about sticking the old beta's to public, so public's can download

There will be a public release soon enough. It's hard to get Donators and without Donators we have to pay the bills ourselves and that's just a lot of money. But I just know we wouldn't have as many Donators as we have now if we didn't make beta versions available only to Donators. It's also not the case that you'll lose a lot of money if you Donate, we think it's a reasonable deal. It's also so that we spend more time in making this database update than SI Games spends in making Football Manager and we don't directly charge a single penny for people to get the database update.

all i was thinking that the more people who have the update the better the update will be, because of mistakes will be spotted and transfers missed etc...
