 Fourteen months ago Spanish and I decided to make a new FM fansite and called it FMFormation. Now fourteen months later FMFormation counts more then 20,000 members, hosting a huge amount of downloads for both FM06 and FM07 and creator of probably the most famous database update for Football Manager. We got this far by only creating a forum and work hard with a dedicated crew. Our mission was simple, to give the FM fan as much as possible. At this moment we've become so well-known that we decided it was time for a new layout. Actually, it's not really a new layout, it's more like a frontpage for FMFormation. We managed to do very well with only a forum but we only noticed that a lot of first time visitors but also regular members had some trouble finding their way at FMF and a lot also missed out on all the extras FMF offers like our Arcade, LiveScores and much more. That's why we are now proud to open our new site which is totally integrated into the forums. We hope you will all like it. Nothing wrong with growth and advancement. Looks good and i'm still amazed at the way you find time to do everything. Are you now having to take over Taz' position on the admin and spent even more time with FMF? |

I'm not really taking over Taz' position on the admin because I am the founder and also admin. I realize your position Bozza and am greatly in your debt for getting this whole project going. I was just considering the 'hole' that Taz' left. Is there a hole or was his contribution an extra on top of everything else? Any plans for the future of FMF? How is FMF going to get bigger? Can i be of anymore assistance? |

Ofcourse it's a fact that no one can replace Taz. The work he did was incredible and he was/is a huge addition to FMF. But I do think if a lot of members would try their best to be very active and more FMF a resourcefull and nice place to be I think we can fill in the gaps that Taz left behind.
I was already working on the new main site when I heard the news from Taz. I do think that this new main site and the vBookie system are two things that pushed FMF to a higher level and if we can work all together we can make FMF an extremely fun and usefull place to be.
As for what can I do... there's a lot you can do to make FMF better. Compared to some other popular forums, FMF isn't so active when it comes to posting and activity of some sections. A lot of things that happends to people in FM or things they find out or just typed in the shoutbox but not posted.
