Martin Taylor of Birmingham was the player who commited the challenge and he received a red card fot his. Although, many people are arguing that if the tackle had not have resulted in an injury as bad as this then he would have only received a yellow card, which imo seems a fairly valid point. Eduardo has reported to have broken the lower left hand side of his leg. I am so gutted for him, he was a great player that could have his career ruined. Anyway, i have been searching around and have found a picture of the injury. Warning : The image is quite graphic. http://www.gamblog.co.uk/uploaded_im...leg-736017.jpg | | | | 23-02-08, 04:07 PM | #2 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Sunderland Posts: 484 Thanks: 6 Thanked 24 Times in 15 Posts | try to put it in the right section, this is not related to FM. | | | | 23-02-08, 04:15 PM | #3 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Bolton Posts: 525 Thanks: 11 Thanked 16 Times in 16 Posts | o, i thought that the general discussion forum was just general chat about anything in real world , sorry. | | | | 23-02-08, 04:20 PM | #4 (permalink) | | vBookie Team, Member of the Ozza Family Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Cheshire Posts: 2,276 Thanks: 540 Thanked 339 Times in 277 Posts | It's already been mentioned in this forum, the wrong forum. | | | | 23-02-08, 04:22 PM | #5 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Bolton Posts: 525 Thanks: 11 Thanked 16 Times in 16 Posts | ok, sorry. | | | | 23-02-08, 04:38 PM | #6 (permalink) | | Scout For FMF's DB Update Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Mississauga, near Toronto Posts: 1,687 Thanks: 226 Thanked 238 Times in 198 Posts | that is horrible, but we've seen players come back from broken legs, hopefully he will return soon btw can a mod please move this to the football world forums :) | | | | 23-02-08, 04:44 PM | #7 (permalink) | | FMF Writer/FMF Mod lollol:P Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Dundalk, Ireland Posts: 2,417 Thanks: 197 Thanked 330 Times in 267 Posts | can a mod in this section move this to the football world section | Current Game SV Red Bull Salzburg Austrian Bundesliga Champions 2007/2008 Austrian Super Cup Winners 2008 Hang on I better say "Red Bull, it gives you wings" or ill be sacked | | | 23-02-08, 05:04 PM | #8 (permalink) | | Scout For FMF's DB Update Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Mississauga, near Toronto Posts: 1,687 Thanks: 226 Thanked 238 Times in 198 Posts | john look up lol | | | | 23-02-08, 05:40 PM | #9 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Sunderland Posts: 484 Thanks: 6 Thanked 24 Times in 15 Posts | both of you look up at me, i said it in the first reply :P anyway i dont see what all the fuss is about yes ive saw it plenty of times, its a broken leg, they happen often, he wont be out for over a year, his career will be fine, and if he wasnt an arsenal/man utd/chelsea/liverpool player noone would care. | | | | 23-02-08, 06:18 PM | #10 (permalink) | | FmF Smurf Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: Nethelands Posts: 1,868 Thanks: 59 Thanked 142 Times in 92 Posts | thread moved | | | | | 23-02-08, 07:11 PM | #11 (permalink) | | FMF's Special One Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Guildford Posts: 839 Thanks: 115 Thanked 131 Times in 126 Posts | lmao finally i dont like to look at it :( | C'Mon FCZ | FC Zurich 2-1 Aston Villa | | | 23-02-08, 07:27 PM | #12 (permalink) | | Scout For FMF's DB Update Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Mississauga, near Toronto Posts: 1,687 Thanks: 226 Thanked 238 Times in 198 Posts | lol toukai you just said right section, not the name of it and i agree, poor non-big 4 leg breakers | | | | 23-02-08, 10:27 PM | #13 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Bolton Posts: 525 Thanks: 11 Thanked 16 Times in 16 Posts | well thats not true toukai, who are you to say that ? How do you know if people would care or not ? The only way someone wouldn't care about someone getting their leg broke is if they didn't know it had happend. | | | | 25-02-08, 08:32 PM | #14 (permalink) | | Backup To The First Team Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: Romania , Iasi Posts: 154 Thanks: 9 Thanked 21 Times in 15 Posts | not the way to tackle :) | | | | | 26-02-08, 08:12 AM | #15 (permalink) | | FMF's Toon Army Spiderman and member of the Writers Crew Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: wiltshire Posts: 1,813 Thanks: 235 Thanked 425 Times in 403 Posts | wasnt a tackle it was assault, just like when keane attacked haaland | Signature-Care of Ru Top FMF GFX Artist Current game Birmingham/Spain 2009-10 | | | 26-02-08, 10:08 AM | #16 (permalink) | | FMF Donator Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Liverpool Posts: 71 Thanks: 11 Thanked 10 Times in 10 Posts | Without doubt unfortunate to say the least, but as far as intent goes I'm not sure...I mean for an example, Carvalho dives in two-footed nearly evrey week and yet only rarely gets punished and one of those tackles could be a 'career over' one imo.. *Still feels sorry for eduardo - as anyone who plays footy can appreciate a nasty injury* | | | | 26-02-08, 11:26 AM | #17 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Feb 2007 Posts: 534 Thanks: 19 Thanked 16 Times in 11 Posts | Somewhere on somekind of a webpage they take petitions to ban Martin Taylor for life...heh | | | | | 26-02-08, 11:53 AM | #18 (permalink) | | FMF's Toon Army Spiderman and member of the Writers Crew Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: wiltshire Posts: 1,813 Thanks: 235 Thanked 425 Times in 403 Posts | New Anfield did you not see the footage of how high and LATE it was?
