A great prospect for the future has suffered a major setback in his career today after he suffered a horrific injury against Birmingham today. Martin Taylor of Birmingham was the player who commited the challenge and he received a red card fot his. Although, many people are arguing that if the tackle had not have resulted in an injury as bad as this then he would have only received a yellow card, which imo seems a fairly valid point. Eduardo has reported to have broken the lower left hand side of his leg. I am so gutted for him, he was a great player that could have his career ruined. that is horrible, but we've seen players come back from broken legs, hopefully he will return soon  btw can a mod please move this to the football world forums :) |

anyway i dont see what all the fuss is about yes ive saw it plenty of times, its a broken leg, they happen often, he wont be out for over a year, his career will be fine, and if he wasnt an arsenal/man utd/chelsea/liverpool player noone would care. |

Without doubt unfortunate to say the least, but as far as intent goes I'm not sure...I mean for an example, Carvalho dives in two-footed nearly evrey week and yet only rarely gets punished and one of those tackles could be a 'career over' one imo..

ok, this, i admit was a horrific injury, it also puts arsenal youngsters under pressure because we have a shortage of strikers, they are obviously going to get called up to the first team, but this happens in football, you go out and put your body on the line for those 3 points, and that shows commitment to your club, this is not the only 'bad' injury ever, busst, he managed the place i lived for a while, random. henrik larsson, alan smith and djibril cisse, ouch!, were other bad ones. | | | | | | | |
