Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Adriano's agent, Gilmar Rinaldi, is seeking an exit plan for the out-of-favour Inter forward, who may opt to leave the San Siro within the next 48 hours should an acceptable offer present itself - although it still seems more likely that he'll stay...
Adriano's agent Gilmar Rinaldi says that the door is open for Adriano to move away from the San Siro after discussing the prospect of a loan move - but the Brazilian forward is said to be far from happy with the arrangement.
"We have spoken a lot, and took a night of reflection before saying anything. But what is for sure is that the idea of a loan has taken us by surprise," he said.
"It will either be a sale, or he will stay," concluded Rinaldi.
The objective is clear - the player does not want to take a step backwards by being loaned out. A sale would mean that he would be moving to another top club, as only the very richest will be able to afford him.
All that agrees with him turning down a loan move to Parma. With Inter unwilling to sell to Milan, and few other Italian options presenting themselves, rumour has it that he could be England-bound.
Inter representative Marco Branca apparently sounded out big-spending Manchester City and Newcastle United.
Manchester United and Real Madrid have been mentioned in some quarters. Though there is nothing concrete to those stories, at least not yet, there have been hints of movement behind the scenes.
