Hi guys.

I am thinking about running a SOTW (Signature Of The Week) competition. Only problem is, I don't think enough people would participate.

If you make signatures, and would be interested in participating in the competition, please leave a comment in here letting me know. If enough people agree, then I will run it, but I want as many people as possible participating!

Lets start with trying to get at least 10 people first!

Sounds good idea mate. Theres a lot who make sigs, i dont though, never really been bothered for them. Id say you can get 10 people to join!!

I'd be interested in this. I enjoy making sigs and it's an excuse to make more.

I need to get my new laptop set up with Photoshop, but once I have I'd be interested. All I have to do then is brush off the rust of not making sigs in about 5 years!

Not sure what experience you have of SOTW competitions, and you may have already thought of these, but some suggestions to try in the future if it gets off the ground are:

Themed SOTW: All entries must conform to a specific theme, Black & White, particular team, etc...
Stock Image SOTW: All entries must use a specific image provided at the start of the SOTW.
Collaboration: 2 participants create a single sig, with 1 person creating the initial sig and then the other altering it in some way.

Just a couple of ideas, hope this gets up and running!

YES IM IN we could talk to bozza/spanish/fed about making a separate section for this to get more attention
i will also pm all the sig makers of fmf if you want...and judging has to be done by an anonymous poll (only the person whos collecting them will know who is doing that, and that person has to be someone who doesnt do sigs)

now thats a lot of people, and all of you are great sig-makers. you thrive on competition, so you can only get better by practicing. who knows, your genius might be uncovered by the denizens of FMF.

And I know James and Spanish had a similar idea with the GFX challenges, but because of US (no not George Bush and the U.S. everyone hates them anyway ), we have what? 5 entries since JANUARY. WE need to take action! We need to make our SIGS. Make FMF home of the best graphicizers of them all. And for all of you here who want to become sig-makers, ask any of us, if you want a tutorial or a PSD, we'll help!

So we will start NOW, when I wake up tomorrow, I better see a whole list of names for ppl who want SOTW (Sig of the Week)
