Default Player Search

You go to scout players on player search. But how do you know if someone has good stats or the right stats?

Primary Attributes:

Secondary Attributes:
At least 12 for Premiership level, 10 for Championship, 8 for League 1 & 2,
6 - 8 For BSP And BSS/N

Position: Goalkeeper

Secondary: Command of Area, Rushing Out, Throwing, Kicking
Note: Lower Eccentrcity and Higher Decision Makes A Good Keeper

Position: Full Back

Secondary: Acceleration, Long Throws, Work Rate, Teamwork, Marking, Bravery, Stamina

Position: Centre Back
Primary: Concentration Heading, Marking, Positioning, Strength
Secondary: Anticipation, Bravery, Work Rate, Teamwork, Concentration, Tackling
Note: Good height or speed would help

Position: Defensive Midfielders

You sometimes get all round strikers, meaning they can be target man or fast strikers.

Position: Captains
Primary: Influence (Higher The Better), Teamwork, Work Rate
Note: I recommend your captain to be a first team regular, if not a substitute. Maybe check if he gets in trouble with officials. Last thing youn want is a Captain getting in trouble all the time.

I hope you all enjoy reading this and I hope you all found this useful.

Very good guide mate, quality!

Couple of things I have my doubts about.

Full Backs; Dribbling as Primary and Acceleration as Secundary. Dribbling isn't that important for most tactics right? Would say that Acceleration is more important and where is Pace? The Hints & Tips of FM are always saying that Pace is important for a full back.

Centre Backs; Tackling more important than Concentration? Isn't Tackling something that is often used by full backs and less often by centre backs? Concentration is something that is very important for a good centre back though. He needs to keep concentrating in order to do his primary and only job good, marking the striker.

Captains: Influence is of course the main attribute to look at. However, Determination and Teamwork are also very important for a good captain. Even Work Rate might be good to look at since he can't have a lazy captain now can we?

Just some things I wanted to point out. It's still my opinion so you might or might not agree with it.

Overall: Awesome guide!

Fixed some of it now thanks to everyones opinions. With the Full Backs, Pace is primary and Acceleration and pace kinda goes together.
