Right well every game i start it saves every week and so i think its all fine when i was on it this morning i went to load my southampton game and Error came up saying game cannot be loaded its happened 5 times over my last 5 games forcing me to delete them

i think youre gonna have to uninstall and then reinstall mate, should solve the problem

I used to have the same problem, the answer is to save the game twice and use one as backup. So everytime u save it, play a day longer or so and save tht as (BACKUP) or something along them lines.
It mostly happens to people that use a downloaded version of the game and use DAEMONTOOLS or software like that instead of using the proper paid version.

i play it off the disc i bought it from the shop on i cant get the default skin back tho?

You should be able to change back to the default skin just like you changed to another skin, by going preferences etc. I think the skin is called Football Manager 2008 :S

If not then you may have deleted the file?
But you may be able to download it from the download section anyways.

usually the save game can't be loaded error usually means you have saved the game in one patch, and your not running that patch. Try updating FM
