I have to say it is from the CM series; 99/00 It was soo good, only because it brings back memories of being a kid and spending quality time with my Dad, he doesn't play much FM anymore because he mostly does work, but even now I love playing FM with him! Ahhhhh memories! *James M runs and asks his Dad if he wants an online game* Also, please say what you voted for Last edited by James M; 27-06-08 at 05:28 PM. | To think that people can go out with hatred in their heart and take away people's sons or brothers or fathers is just beyond belief. That's the way I think about it now: it's only a game. 'Educate the kids to integrate with one another and not pay any attention to who's a Catholic and who's a Protestant, and any of that rubbish. 'Just go out there, support your team, make good friends and get on with your lives. It was great, I played older ones which were my brothers but Champ man 4 was the first FM/CM game that I owned, I saved up for over two months to buy it and still have it now. I play it from time to time and it was the only game were Sheffield Wednesday could get Wayne Rooney on a free at the start of the game, I love that game and it is the game which got me hooked. | Current Game/s ----------------------------- Starting at Wexford Youths, Manager Darling goes for world domination, but he's gotta start somewhere. | | | 27-06-08, 06:17 PM | #4 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 24 Thanks: 10 Thanked 2 Times in 2 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | i meant to chose 07 but i accidently chose 08 07 was alot of fun, well for me anyway, always seemed to do very well compared to the latest, and previous editions | | | | | 27-06-08, 06:33 PM | #5 (permalink) | | FMF's Swiss Lover. CM 00-01 was the best until FM 08 came out. | Cheers Ru | | | 27-06-08, 06:47 PM | #7 (permalink) | | FMF's Toon Army Spiderman and member of the Writers Crew Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: wiltshire Posts: 2,491 Thanks: 309 Thanked 635 Times in 607 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | I think fm07 as it was the first in the series i bought, and I feel fm08 is little more than an update. I played it for years on my PC, with my older brother who was the CM king of the house at the time (Title i now hold ) Then i got it for the xbox a few years back and played it on that. Havn't got it anymore, and I'm not sure if it will even run on vista. | | | | | 28-06-08, 07:34 AM | #15 (permalink) | | Backup To The First Team Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Glasgow Posts: 164 Thanks: 30 Thanked 3 Times in 3 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | CM 01/02 was the business. I played it until FM 2006 came out cos i thought everything between them wasn't very good. I now think that FM08 is probably the best | | | | | 28-06-08, 01:09 PM | #16 (permalink) | | Indispensable To FMF Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Sheffield Posts: 1,305 Thanks: 360 Thanked 262 Times in 256 Posts Nominated 2 Times in 1 Post TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | FM scotland it will run on Vista cos My CM4 runs on vista. Nice choise Ru, That was the first CM I played on and sort of got me hooked, couldn't play it much cos it was my brothers but it was that game which made me buy CM4. My brother still plays CM 97/98, he's in 2006 last time I asked him and was managing sheffield wednesday in europe. | Current Game/s ----------------------------- Starting at Wexford Youths, Manager Darling goes for world domination, but he's gotta start somewhere. | | | 28-06-08, 02:05 PM | #17 (permalink) | | FMFs very own ;) Join Date: May 2006 Location: Liphook, Hampshire Posts: 2,233 Thanks: 39 Thanked 136 Times in 117 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | 01/02 was immense for me, as its when i started to play fm/cm. but fm08 is the dogs, cant wait for next years :D | thanks to James M for the sig, cheers buddy :D EFC Diddy FMF Unittttt :P | | | 28-06-08, 05:18 PM | #18 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 29 Thanks: 2 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | champioship manager | | | | | 28-06-08, 08:05 PM | #19 (permalink) | | What Fed can do with a grape, I can't do with a beach ball! I was still playing that game up to about a year ago before I scratched the disc on a drunken night. | | | | 28-06-08, 11:35 PM | #20 (permalink) | | FMF Writer and V.I.P Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Ballycastle,Northern Ireland Posts: 1,048 Thanks: 227 Thanked 248 Times in 236 Posts Nominated 2 Times in 2 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | i think that it keeps getting better every year it comes out tbh thats why i pick FM08 | | | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | | | |
