I know you get a ban if you upset the FA too much but surely there must be more outcomes to this function. Also, has anyone ever managed to overturn a suspension on appeal? | | | | | 20-06-08, 03:05 PM | #2 (permalink) | | Backup To The First Team Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 179 Thanks: 24 Thanked 19 Times in 19 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | there are positives to getting your opinion on target and saying that it could've been a disallowed (your team's) goal, etc i once said that huntelaar's goal could've been on the offside and the PR was 'admiring his manager's honesty' and i've never managed to overturn a suspension over appeal | My Sig Quote: | Originally Posted by Bozza it is freaking huge lol! | It's freaking huge! | | | 20-06-08, 03:09 PM | #3 (permalink) | | Backup To The First Team Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: Swansea Posts: 235 Thanks: 43 Thanked 31 Times in 31 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | i have overturned a few bans but if my assistant says his view was blocked i fine my player | | | | 20-06-08, 03:10 PM | #4 (permalink) | | FMF's Toon Army Spiderman and member of the Writers Crew Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: wiltshire Posts: 2,360 Thanks: 299 Thanked 611 Times in 583 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | The penalties are the worst ones you can always guarantee you will say the wrong thing. | Signature-Care of Ru Top FMF GFX Artist Current game Tottenham Hotspur 2007- Follow it here! | | | 20-06-08, 06:39 PM | #5 (permalink) | | FMF Moderator Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Dundalk, Ireland Posts: 2,616 Thanks: 202 Thanked 386 Times in 315 Posts Nominated 1 Time in 1 Post TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | most of the time i dont bother to say anything lol, all i do is hit the no comment one | Current Game History: SV Salzburg 2007- 2009 - SV Salzburg, Bundesliga champions 2007/2008, Austrian Super Cup winners 2007/2008 Sunderland 2009 - present | | | 20-06-08, 07:43 PM | #6 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: Jun 2006 Posts: 7 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | I only complain if alot of my players go towards the assistant referee | | | | | 20-06-08, 08:43 PM | #7 (permalink) | | Co-founder of FMFormation's Graphical Challenges Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Lennoxtown, Glasgow Posts: 2,205 Thanks: 369 Thanked 272 Times in 147 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | How can you tell if it is a fould though, it is 2 circles, then they both stop moving :S | R.I.P Tommy Burns - You'll Never Walk Alone | | | 20-06-08, 08:56 PM | #8 (permalink) | | What Fed can do with a grape, I can't do with a beach ball! It's impossible to figure out what went on properly. I've even tried reading the match report as well and that doesn't give an indication whether or not a foul was a foul etc. In my opinion, this feature is pointless. | | | | 20-06-08, 09:01 PM | #9 (permalink) | | FMF's World Football Geek Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: Cotswolds Posts: 1,154 Thanks: 403 Thanked 195 Times in 192 Posts Nominated 6 Times in 1 Post TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | I agree, what is the point of viewing the incident again...2 circles in slow motion is still 2 circles....can't even tell if they fall over... They review his matches and that usually led to him getting relegated to refereeing lower league games. Justice. | | | | | 21-06-08, 07:59 AM | #12 (permalink) | | What Fed can do with a grape, I can't do with a beach ball! I wonder why they felt the need to get rid of such a feature? | | | | 26-06-08, 07:44 PM | #13 (permalink) | | FMF's Toon Army Spiderman and member of the Writers Crew Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: wiltshire Posts: 2,360 Thanks: 299 Thanked 611 Times in 583 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | I wish it was guys, then some of the refs (especially a choicc select of a couple of spanish ones, and Uriah bloody Rennie who I dont think Ive ever had a decision go my way with) banished to lower echelons of footy never to be seen again. | Signature-Care of Ru Top FMF GFX Artist Current game Tottenham Hotspur 2007- Follow it here! | | | 26-06-08, 08:15 PM | #14 (permalink) | | FMF Writer and V.I.P Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Ballycastle,Northern Ireland Posts: 897 Thanks: 214 Thanked 221 Times in 209 Posts Nominated 2 Times in 2 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | I stopped commenting :|.... I slow it right down... and I've even had it where the guy was 2 yards onside and it was disallowed, i complained and the FA still said it was right! Damn FA!!!! | Well there you go then Stu, it just proves that FM08 is as reallistic as you can possibly get because lets face it, half the damn premiership refs have no idea what the offside rule is all about anyway! | Signature-Care of Ru Top FMF GFX Artist Current game Tottenham Hotspur 2007- Follow it here! | | | 29-06-08, 01:05 AM | #17 (permalink) | | Backup To The First Team Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Liverpool Posts: 223 Thanks: 32 Thanked 35 Times in 35 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Quote: Originally Posted by abeatty2209 I stopped commenting :|.... I often wondered if this does have any effect on the game are you more like to get decision in your favour if the ref thinks he might be moaned at in the press. it would be nive to know. And yea its a feture that defo needs to be improved even if its just a picture of roy keane on harrland leg least you could say yea the boy deserved to go | | | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | | All times are GMT.
