Has anyone else had the problem where their team is creating stacks of chances but just cannot score? I've had this occur a couple of times, both with good teams (Arsenal, Real Madrid) and playing different formations (Arsenal 4-2-3-1 with 3 AMs and 1 FC, Real 4-4-2). The kind of stats I'd get would be that my team create 25 chances, get maybe 12 on target, and score 0 or 1 goals... then just to rub it in, the opposition would get maybe 3 shots on target, score one or two and win! I'm looking for tips on how to cure this. I've had a few ideas but nothing's really worked. I've tried: - intensifying my forwards' shooting training - stopping people taking so many long shots (theory being I'm making lots of chances but they're from 25 yards out and easy to save) - rotating out-of-form strikers out of the lineup Any ideas? | | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to dcarterclout For This Useful Post: | | 16-06-08, 03:07 PM | #2 (permalink) | | Backup To The First Team Join Date: May 2008 Location: Halifax, NS Posts: 101 Thanks: 26 Thanked 13 Times in 13 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | I've had this problem too at times, it would be good to hear what others have to say bout it. I'm refining my formation all the time, maybe if I make my striker just sit in front of the goal he'll bang it in when he gets the ball!!! | | | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
