Ok, download the file. When you click on a link to a download just go to save (make sure you know where it is saving it to, desktop is easiest).
When you have the file, use winrar to extract the file (winrar is easier, as you can just right click on the file and select "extract here")
When you have extracted it, open the following folder:
mydocuments/sports interactive/FM08,
in this folder you will see many other folders with names like; kits, logs etc. Simply drag and drop you neew extracted file into the appropriate folder. If you cannot see a folder for the thing you have, create one (right click and go to create folder)
When you have done that, start FM.
When the main screen comes on, go to preferences, and then display and sound.
Make sure "always reload skin" option is ticked. And the "use skin cache" is not.
Then go to confirm and the game will look for the new stuff you've downloaded! |
