Hi!
I'm playing with a medium database and my computer is a P2 2,4 ghz with 2gigs of RAM. The game is going insanely slow and it's driving me nuts. PLEASE!!! could someone tell me how to speed up the game?

What leagues have u loaded and what year are u in? It mite be something to do with them or its your pc. |

That ent right your PC specs are better than mine and im using Large DB I got 6 Leagues Selected with all divisions and mine dont run slow one bit so my guess its your PC mate. |

Actually I'm running 1 League with 2 divisions. The thing is when I created the game I chosed to load players from many countries. Nothing wrong with the PC. having it in windowed screen speeds it up much better

Hey canito, sorry for thread-stealing. But I have a problem when trying to go to windowed mode. When I clicked on confirm, the screen goes black and an error message pops up that says "Please make sure your system supports this configuration." anyone can resolve this? |

I'm on 735MB RAM with 38GB Hard Drive and It's exactly the same as yours - even in windowed mode!
I'm getting my PC reformatted soon (hopefully next weekend) so I'll see how it is then. |

it suppose not slow with 2G RAM..better u check u'r P.C dude..maybe some programmed that run without u concern..please check u'r anti-virus..for information about window mode please click here FM 2008: Play FM in windowd mode |

hey i would say thats normal well in my case it is
well my specs are lower then yours by only a bit on my laptop and mine plays fine and i have huge db on with few all players from countries and pretty much about 10 leagues running and mine runs fine at times when its doin all the results it can slow down a bit but not at all when im actualy playing
i can also say msn messenger can slow is down considerably as messenger seems to be a very demanding program for pretty much nothing lol so closing it can help speed up ive noticed
i could also recomend on the processes making fm.exe a higher priority program but this can affect your system so if u do its at your own cost but ive done it a few times when there was alot of fixtures it needed to do results for and it didnt affect my system while it did make fm run faster but aslong as u make sure to put it back to normal priority after otherwise it can start to affect important processes |
