Default trick to avoid work permit for english clubs

ive playng fm so much that i personaly found a few tricks that helps me in my current game and i wanna share with you.first was the one with too many coaches.second is this: when you try sign a foreign player for a english club youll have some problems obtaining an work permit so youll have to wait at least 2 years that the player will gain eu nationality.this trick will shorten the time for some players but not for all.
-first look at the club if has any affiliated clubs that will help you avoid the work permit for the players(this is very important that will help you to sign any non eu player)
-secondly,after you sign the player you wount be able to play him becouse he will require an work permit,so is up to you what you gonna do:sending him on loan to an affiliated club or put him in the reserve team and wait.
-third look at the players from your team that requires work permit.if you see any player that played a number of games for his country(senior team) ofer him a new contract(unfortunately i dont know the number of int caps required -about 20).if youll have luck the player will sign a new contract and the work permit will dissapear.
is just like in real life. a very good example is alex from chelsea.it was sent to psv to play becouse in england he couldnt.after playng some matches for brazil he obtained an work permit
just try it and tell me if works to you.but remember i dont know the exact number of the international caps required

well this isn't actually a trick.it's how it was meant to work.when a player signs a new contract he gets a work permit (if he doesn't have one).so if he doesn't sign the contract it doesn't mean that he snubbed it.it's just that he can't be given a work permit.there isn't an exact number of caps.it's the percent that's needed for the work permit (i think it's 75% of the nat.team's games for the last 2 years).
i've explored these options in FM2007 when i had a Polish aff.club allowing me to sign players even if they didn't get a WP.i'v found out that this method (i don't find the word "trick" appropriate in this case) works very well for players from small nations, coz when you get them to an eng club, the nat.team tends to call them,so they get the percent needed for the WP.

Toumba...Don't you just love it?

you will also find that if a players nation is in top 50 in world he could get WP even with no international caps. however if he is from poor nation e.g. Guam(LOL) then they probably wont get WP even if they play every game for their nation.

Thats not strictly true. If a player has played over 75% of his countries games in the last [x amount of time, I don't know the exact figure] then he is entitled to a work permit from the FA. So chances are if they have alot of caps for their country, no matter how obscure, you will probably get a work permit.
