Can please someone explain how the Dutch playoffs work (both european place and relegation)?i just can't figure them out...  |

Champions League Play offs.
The number 2 faces off against the number 5
The number 3 faces off against the number 4
Winner of the number 2 vs number 5 match faces against winner of the number 3 vs number 4. for example the first match is won by number 5 and the 2nd match is won by number 3. So at this point The winner of the match from number 2 vs number 3 will get the Cl ticket and the loser of that match will go into Uefa cup. |

Cheers veg, that clears that up very helpful mate. That would explain why on the inter-match screen you see "Ajax has won the championship" followed by "AZ has won the championship"

Uefa Cup Play offs.
The losers from the First matches will face each other for 1 Uefa Cup ticket. The loser of this match will compete against the winner of the play offs from number 6 till number 9.
The number 6 faces off against the number 9
The number 7 faces of against the number 8
The winner from these two matches will face each other and whoever wins this match must face the loser from the match for a Cl ticket. These 2 team will square off for 1 remaining Uefa Cup Ticket. And the loser of that match will qualify for Intertoto. If you lose in your first match you will not get anything.
Intertoto Play off
The number 10 faces the number 13
The number 11 faces the number 12
Both winners will face each other for 1 intertoto ticket.
Teams that will not compete in Play offs are The numbers 1, 14, 15 and 18.
The number 18 will relegate at once

thanks veg.finally everything is cleared up.the stupid FM has a 1st round with 8 teams with some losers qualifying some not,a 2nd round with 6 teams and again some losers qualifying...i was getting mad.couldn't understand what was going on...it isn't that complicated after all.
just one question:isn't there only 1 intertoto place?
oh,and something else.could you also clarify what's going on with relegation playoffs? |

Well the relegation is quiet difficult to explain butt i'm gonna try.
Yeah there is only 1 intertoto place it was a mistake of me :S |
