i've started unemployed in a new game and there were about 10 teams with no manager.does the game when you start unemployed create vacant positions so you can find a team to manage? |

NO, sometimes you have to wait up to a season into the game to get a job. Depending on what you've set your past experience to. |

Pierikos,a 2nd division Greek team.newly promoted,fighting to avoid relegation...a low and challenging start. my manager is Greek and i started the game in Greece,so i thought the vacancy was created by the game on purpose so that i have somewhere to start.but it turns out it was just luck :) for anyone interested details of this game can be found here: Paschalis Lampridis goes for glory |

Well done mate. Ive been well into october before I was offered a job, and I had my experience set to "Professional Footballer"
I jumped at the chance to manage Bury, just to get some action, but I lasted until xmas, when I applied for and got the West Ham job!
Unfortunately, my game crashed in the following march, when it was looking hopeful that a european uefa cup place was possible, and since then I've always started at a club instead. |

Automatic - means no footballing exprience whatsoever, you will find hardly any team would want u to join them as a manager if u were unemployed, but its worth a chance. Your status will be Unproven i think. |

I set status to unproven in my last current game though and I managed to get a job after a few days too I must admit, but that was a crappy hong kong team. |

Isn't the status unproven called "Sunday League Footballer"? Or am I mistaking and is there one below that?

I think so Bozza. Im sure Automatic is Sunday League.
I tried starting with no job and got bored of waiting tbh.
But i always set it to Sunday League make it a bit realistic. . . |

I don't know about 08 but in the last FM when I won the world cup with scotland and got Redditch to the prem my status was 'legendary' I think its very rare though. |

u'r lucky mate...but i think the game starting without manage any team is kind of not relevant ..then the game will automatically find u a team to manage and offer any vacancy that available.. |
